At 2:48 PM on Wednesday, September 29, a school bus accident occurred at the Timberview High School parking lot. A few minor injuries were reported in what Mansfield ISD Police say was a single car collision with a bus on the south side of the Timberview parking lot off of south 360.
- EMT and MISD Police responded to the accident
- A car pulled out in front of the school bus in the far south parking lot drive coming into the Timberview HS parking lot.
- One student with no visible injuries has been transported to Mansfield Methodist Medical Center out of precaution.
- Two other bus riders with minor injuries stayed at the scene with EMTs until parents could arrive to transport them.
- The driver of the car, a current Timberview High School student, did not have proof of insurance or a valid driver's license and was issued citations by Mansfield ISD Police.
- The Bus was #292 and a total of 27 students were on the bus.
