Lou Spiegel, the Mansfield ISD Associate Superintendent for Business and Governmental Relations, announced this week she will retire from the District in June. Mrs. Spiegel served 27 years in public education, including the past 15 in Mansfield ISD.
“Lou is one of those rare people with the gift of making sense of school finance,” said Dr. Bob Morrison, Superintendent. “She has been a tremendous asset to this district and I thank her for her many years of dedicated service. Through her guidance, this district has enjoyed years of sound fiscal judgment through the challenges of fast-paced growth, multiple bond elections and decreased state funding.”
Mrs. Spiegel served for 15 years as the head of finance for Mansfield ISD. Prior to MISD, she served as a Director of Finance in Fort Worth ISD from 1984 to 1995.
