Elementary Schools
Charlotte Anderson Elementary School
The PTA Dad's Club will be collecting toys for the TOYS FOR TOTS drive. The week before we get out for Christmas break (Dec. 14-18) dads from the Dad's club will be wearing their Santa hats collecting new toys for Toys for Tots.
CAE just finished their can food drive that 1st and 4th grade sponsored during Red Ribbon Week. Using the theme "we CAN say no to drugs" we tied it into our Say "NO" to drugs Red Ribbon Week theme in October. The 4th graders made charts and graphs to see which grade brought in the most cans to bring in an educational twist to their fundraising efforts. They learned valuable lessons about helping others and also had fun learning how to update and chart multi-line graphs... always learning at Charlotte Anderson!

Roberta Tipps Elementary School
Tipps Elementary participated in two community outreach opportunities- a toy drive to benefit the Wesley Mission Center, and a fundraiser event in honor of Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County. Students and staff had two opportunities to spread joy in our community. Each grade level had their own toy theme, and for every dollar brought for Meals on Wheel, students were given a car to color and attach to a bulletin board located at the front of the school. The students and staff of Roberta Tipps donated a total of 268 toys and raised $1,368 for Meals on Wheels.
