On Monday, February 1, 2010, the University Interscholastic League announced its reclassification and realignment for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 school years.
“Realignment always brings a great deal of excitement around the state of Texas,” said Athletics Director, Debbie Weems.
“Our new districts will be highly competitive and will renew some old associations. When Mansfield High moved up to 5-A in the late eighties, they were districted with Grand Prairie High, South Grand Prairie and Duncanville. I know our athletes and coaches will be up for the new challenges.”
