 Dameon Gray has been named the next principal at Thelma Jones Elementary School. Gray has 13 years in education. For the past three school years he has served in the Irving ISD as the Vice-Principal at Lorenzo De Zavala Middle School. Prior to that he was a teacher in Dallas and in Minnesota
Gray holds a Master of Educational Administration from
The University of St. Thomas. He also has a Licensure in Elementary Education from The University of Minnesota.
Gray is also joined at Thelma Jones by new assistant principal, Regina Nelson. Nelson replaces Gema Padgett, the new principal at Louise Cabaniss Elementary School opening August 2008.
