All MISD parents are invited to the first of three active parenting sessions.
Recently, three MISD counselors received a grant that they created called Counselor 411. The program's goal is to educate parents about issues involving their children.
The first session's topic concerns improving and promoting communication and values between parents and their children. The session will be held at Willie Brown Elementary School on Tuesday, September 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., in the cafeteria. Child care and refreshments will be provided.
