Olympic champion, Carl Lewis, visited Cora Spencer Elementary for the school's first assembly Friday, Sept. 1, at 2:00 p.m. Lewis is known for winning Olympic medals in the long jump and 100 meters between 1984 and 1996. Lewis talked to the students about the importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve those goals.
