Mansfield ISD Increases by 2230

| This year's first day enrollment represents 2230 more students than day one of the 2005-06 school year. MISD officials anticipate an enrollment of 28,000 students this year. Mansfield ISD is consistently rated as one of the fastest growing school districts in the state, and is expected to grow by nearly 10 percent each year. The district is expected to open nine schools within the next five years, including the district's fourth high school, Mansfield Legacy. Mansfield ISD covers 94.5 square miles and includes within its boundaries Mansfield, as well as sections of South Arlington, West Grand Prairie, Fort Worth, Rendon, Kennedale and Johnson County. |
