[UPDATED: April 9, 2007] A Global Experience for Students
The Rogene Worley Middle School history teachers recently received a grant to host the Earth Globe presentation by Earth Adventures, Inc. The students get the chance to see the world from the inside. From geography to a little bit of history, the program is designed to help the students meet the earth.
The exhibit was presented to all seventh and eight grade students all day Wednesday, April 4 and Thursday, April 5.
Due to the need for a 20-foot clearance, the presentation was held in the school's gym. About 30 students at a time attended class inside the balloon-globe to continue what they have been studying in class.
