The Benefits Department provides services to employees in the areas of benefits questions, problems related with access to or payment of benefits, orientation of newly eligible employees, and the processing of enrollment and claim forms.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• The district sponsored Hospital Indemnity Plan (HIP) is going away on October 1, 2011. Covered employees that have a claim up to that point, need to get it turned in to Benefits. Please contact Lucy Peeples at lucypeeples@misdmail.org or 817.299.6336 for further information. 
  
  
• Starting school term 2011-12, open enrollment for both medical and supplemental insurance will occur at the same time, August 2011.
